I would like to invite a STEM Ambassador in to school to facilitate a workshop for groups of children aged three to five years old. We are looking at the topic 'Weather' next half term (22.4.14 - 23.5.14) so something that could be focused around this theme would be great.

Ideally I would like this to consist of a short 10 minute talk (to three separate classes of children - two Reception classes of 30, one Nursery class of 15), followed by a hands on activity for approximately 30 minutes in each of the classes.

I am looking for any STEM amabassadors who are interested in being involved with an ongoing Cafe Sci lunchtime activity. I would like to use WEBEX to have interactive disscussions and Q&A sessions which will last for 25 mins max. We meet every Thursday lunchtime at 1.20pm but am happy for the chat to start at 1.30 approx and to finish for 2pm.
My aim is to engage pupils by offering a wide range of topics for disscussion, tours showing Science in the work place and other settings. Careers in Science and generally the opportunuity to listen to others and ask questions.
