We would like to invite STEM Ambassadors to support our ICT lessons. The Ambassador(s) would be in different classes, offering support to key stage 2 teachers delivering computer programming activities as part of the ICT curriculum. Ideally this would be 6 hours in each class/year spread throughout the school year. The Ambassador(s) would support the class teacher and digital leaders in delivering the activities based on the Code Club programme, using Scratch software.

We have a group of very nice and bright pupils in our top set for Maths. As a school we would like to raise their personal aspirations and make them aware of the exciting careers and opportunities that are open to them after school. Historically our school has a high percentage of pupils that leave school and do not pursue further education/careers.

We would like to invite STEM Ambassadors to assist our team in the BOC Challenge. We are looking for Ambassadors who can mentor our pupils and offer them new skills such as team building and innovative ways to present their findings. We are looking for someone who has knowledge of environmental concerns, including reducing carbon dioxide emissions. This is to enable the pupils to have a better understanding of how they can care and protect their environment.

The College runs an Engineering club for all those studying A-level Physics and Maths. We wish to run a series of workshops, talks, lectures, site visits and careers sessions to give students a wider flavour of the subject and an indication of both the possiblities of studying it at University and possible careers afterwards. The club runs on Tuesday afternoons from September through to June each year, so we are flexible on timings.
