I would like to invite STEM Ambassadors into our College to run a workshop for small groups (around 20 per group) showcasing different STEM careers.
We are particularly interested in interactive workshops which STEM Ambassadors can offer, to keep pupils engaged. Past examples I have seen have include pupils learning how to use a stethoscope, and also how to administer CPR - these kinds of engaging activities encompassing other STEM careers would be ideal.

We are organising a series of aspirational talks to Year 9 to prepare them for choosing their options.
We would like to invite STEM Ambassadors to give a talk at the year 9 assembly - the talk should be under 20 minutes and be inspirational. The aim of the talks is to excite and inform students on particular career paths.

I would like to invite an Ambassador come in and speak with our year 11 science students, ideally for a 30 minute session. It will be in the form of a careers talk for GCSE science students to encourage them to continue with science after leaving school and give them an overview of the types of things they can do.

We are holding a STEM day with a focus on Mathematics and Science. We would like some keen Aambassadors to volunteer and support the event. The areas we would like support with are:
- Maths Busking - short, fun, maths demonstrations, that will engage our students to think around mathematical topics and problems
- Science Busking, short hand on science demos that will engage our students and make them think about the science behind the demonstrations (a nice guide on science busking is available from MOSI should you need some ideas)

Pupils will be completing the Squashed Tomato Challenge during a one hour STEM Club session after school (2.45 - 3.45pm). Their challenge is to design and build a model which can transport tomatoes without squashing them. They will have already spent time planning and preparing their models in previous STEM Club sessions, and in this session the models will be tested and judged.
We are seeking 1 - 3 Ambassadors to support pupils during the challenge and act as judges during the test.
