What I can offer to schools
Enthusiasm. I am passionate about teaching children how the subjects they study relate to the built environment. I feel this gives the subject depth and allows them to get a sense of the purpose behind education. To engage the next generation they need to know that maths is more than numbers, physics more than theories and chemistry more than test tubes but they have been used to create everything around them.

This is a diversionary activity group based in a deprived area, loosely described as 'Arts and Crafts', but making everything from junk models to 3D pictures.
We are looking for someone who would come and enthuse our young people and show us how to make interesting and exciting objects while learning about science/design/technology in an informal environment.
Eg. I saw the hovercraft from CD, bottle top and balloon in 'Things that float' on the Stem Clubs page. Things like that would be brilliant.
