Networking Success in Torbay

 Devon EBP hosted their first in a series of STEMNetworking events for teachers, ambassadors and local businesses at Torquay Museum last month.

 

The aim of these twilight events is to raise awareness of the , to link schools with businesses and to encourage people in industry to help schools and raise the profile of their business.

The first round of the networking events are themed around The Big Bang South West as well as a networking session.

 

We had a great turn out to the Torbay event with 5 STEM Ambassadors, 7 teachers, 6 student presenters and 13 business all interested to find out more about linking with each other.  As a result we now have 6 new ambassadors eager to insire and help students.
