We would like to run a 'Meet the Ambassador' activity with a class of Year 9 pupils. The session will last 1 hour and will begin with the Ambassador displaying unusual tools of the trade without revealing their job role. Small groups of pupils will formulate questions to ask the Ambassador in a hope of uncovering their 'mystery' career. This will be followed by a short presentation on the Ambassador's career background and education history. The session will end with a 'mini-mission' task for pupils that demonstrates skills required in the Ambassador's career - this could be something as simple as a team building exercise or perhaps a more specialised activity the Ambassador may have in mind (the STEM team at MOSI can help provide suggestions of 'mini missions').
